The Dollar-Figure Diagnostic ... we call it The Read ... is how every White Sage engagement begins. Two short meetings, a few days of honest digging in between, and a readout that puts a real dollar figure on the one or two problems costing your business the most.

How it works

  1. The first conversation

About an hour. A real working conversation ... how the business runs, where the friction is, what you already suspect.

  2. The digging

A few days on our side. Your numbers, your systems, your front door ... wherever the evidence leads.

  3. The readout

The second conversation. The top one or two problems, each with a dollar figure on it ... what they cost you, and what fixing them is worth.

Who it's for

Businesses doing real revenue with the feeling that something's slipping ... calls, leads, hours, follow-up. If you can't name the leak but you can feel it, that's exactly what a Read is for.

What a Read is not

  • Not a 47-page report. One or two problems that matter, with numbers on them.

  • Not a pitch in a diagnostic costume. If the honest reading is that you're fine, that's the readout.

  • Not the full picture. The deep, everything-quantified version is paid work ... The Read is the honest first pass.

What owners ask

It's the short diagnostic that starts every White Sage engagement ... we call it The Read. Two conversations with a few days of real digging in between, ending in a readout that names the one or two problems costing your business the most, each with a dollar figure attached. Not a hunch. A number you can weigh a decision against.

The readout: a plain-language walkthrough of the top one or two problems we found, what each is costing you in dollars, and what we'd fix first. It's written down, and it's yours to keep whether or not we ever work together.

Most agency audits are a sales document ... a long list of everything 'wrong,' shaped to sell whatever that agency happens to build. The Read is smaller and harder: one or two problems, ranked by what they actually cost you, each with a dollar figure. And if you're fine, we say you're fine.

Two conversations and some honesty. The first meeting works best when the person who feels the problems is in the room. Between meetings we may ask for a few specifics ... call volumes, lead counts, what a typical job is worth ... whatever the digging turns up. No prep, no homework packet.

The Read costs you two conversations. The dollar figures in the readout come from your real numbers: what a lead is worth to you, how many are slipping, where the hours go. If something is worth fixing, the readout ends with a specific priced next step ... a separate decision you make with the numbers in front of you.

That's your call. Some owners take the readout and fix things themselves ... genuinely fine, that's what it's for. If you want it fixed for you, the readout already names the specific next step and what it involves. Either way, you know in dollars what's actually worth your attention.
